Christine Bowman Murray

Christine Bowman Murray received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations in 2015 from Mississippi State University. In 2016, Murray earned her Masters of Science in Public Relations from Boston University. Murray grew up in Jackson, Miss., and she now resides in Gulfport, Miss., where she works remotely as a Senior Demand Marketing Manager at ADP, Inc.

Anne Marie Lundy

Anne Marie Lundy is a senior communication major from Jackson, Miss., majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations. Lundy serves as an ambassador for the TK Martin Center, is a member of Kappa Delta sorority and a student worker for the Office of the Mississippi State President. Lundy is currently studying for the Law School Admissions Test and hopes to start law school in the fall of 2023. After finishing law school, she hopes to move to Washington to work toward benefitting the state of Mississippi.

Melody Fisher is a native of Jackson, Miss., and has been a part of MSU’s Communication Department for eight years. During her time in the MSU Communication Department, she has taught Public Relations Case Problems, Public Relations Writing, and Public Relations in Organizations.

Janelle Finley Adams

Janelle Finley Adams received her Bachelor of Arts in communication with a concentration in public relations in 2009 from Mississippi State University. In 2010, Adams continued her education at Mississippi State and earned her Master of Science in kinesiology with a sports administration concentration. Adams grew up in Mobile, Ala., and after receiving her degrees, she returned to Mobile and now works as a communications manager for Business Area Americas with Outokumpu Stainless.

Reagan Young

Reagan Young is a senior communication major from Chelsea, Ala., majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations. Young is involved in Chi Omega sorority and Brickfire Project Mentoring Program. In the future, she plans on teaching English abroad after graduation. Her dream after teaching abroad would be to travel the world, write stories about the people she gets the privilege to meet, take pictures of the places she gets to travel, and be led by the Lord through it all!

Karyn Brown and Dr. Melanie Loehwing presented ""Mentoring New Faculty: A Multi-Tiered Approach to Professional Development and Retention" at the annual meeting of the Council on Colleges of Arts & Sciences in Washington, D.C. The presentation focused on how mentoring new faculty members helps bring new faculty into the fold of the college and ultimately helps with faculty retention.

Her presentation titled, ""Branding Arts & Sciences--A Public Relations Approach to Promoting the Liberal Arts," helped deans consider the overall branding approach for their colleges.
