Our department hosts four advisory boards divided by concentration areas. Each advisory board meets with its respective concentration faculty members once a year to discuss and collaborate about vision and strategy for our department.

Marshall Harris is a 2000 graduate of Mississippi State with a Bachelor's in Communication with a concentration in Broadcasting. A Huntsville, Ala., native, Harris now lives in Sacramento, Calif., where he serves as the Sports Director at KOVR-CBS 13 News.
Anna Minor Grizzle
Huntsville, Ala., native Anna Minor Grizzle graduated from Mississippi State in 1994 with Bachelor's in Communication with a concentration in public relations. Grizzle is a Partner at the law firm of Bass, Berry & Sim PLC in Nashville, Tenn., where she represents healthcare clients in regulatory, compliance and operations matters.
Liz Roark, a Batesville, Miss., native recently graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication concentrating in public relations. Roark accepted a job this past summer with Northeast Mississippi Community College as a recruiter. Before transferring to MSU, Roark started her college career at NEMCC.
