Chris Misun

Overview

Summary:

A native of Ashland, Wisconsin, Chris has worked in several industries since graduating from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Chris was the commercial producer, sports photographer and reporter for WAST-LP in Ashland, Wisconsin. Following that, he started Misun Statement Films, LLC in Ashland, producing music videos, weddings, and coporate videos. He then helped start KQDS FOX 21 in Duluth, Minnesota. There he worked as a promotions producer, news photojournalist, sports reporter, and weekend weather anchor.

Following his time in news, he moved to Meridian, Mississippi and was the Video Department Head at Peavey Electonrics International Headquarters. From there he was hired at the Marketing and Creative Director for Goldman Industries, overseeing 13+ businesses across numerous industries, managing marketing budgets, designing marketing materials, and producing commercials and photographs for their boutique store. In 2015, Chris came to Mississippi State University as a Creative Servies Senior Producer for the University Television Station. He produced college and departmental videos as well as promotional videos for the University's social media accounts. In 2019, Chris was hired as a full time Broadcast Instructor for the Department of Communication, Media & Theatre.
