A May 2020 graduate of MSU, Amelia Henson received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. Henson is a native of Philadelphia, Mississippi, where she now works as the Communication Director at the city’s Community Development Partnership.

Dr. Hernandez was one of many authors who contributed a book chapter entitled, "Influencer-Marketing: Is it Right for Your Brand?" to Brandi Watkins' book, Research Perspectives on Social Media Influencers and Brand Communication, which explored some positive and negative implications for employing social media influencers to represent an organization's brand.

Natalie Buchanan Joyce

Natalie Buchanan Joyce, a Madison, Miss., native, graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. Joyce now resides in Washington, D.C., where she serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Member Services for the Office of Republican Leader: Kevin McCarthy in the U.S. House of Representatives. Joyce works every day on Capitol Hill.
