Two Communication students inducted into PBK

PBK Inductees

Congratulations to two communication students who were inducted into Mississippi State University's Phi Beta Kappa, Gamma of Mississippi Chapter on April 3. Avery Smith, a communication major with a concentration in public relations from Atlanta, and Natalie Staggers, a communication major with a concentration in print and digital journalism from Columbus, join 43 other MSU students as inductees.

PBK new members were honored this week with an induction ceremony and dinner sponsored by MSU’s Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President.

Selected for their extraordinary academic achievement in the arts and sciences, PBK inductees are among the top 10 percent of their graduating class who have completed a broad range of liberal arts and sciences coursework, including foreign language study and mathematics.
