Chris Misun, a native of Ashland, Wis., joined the faculty of MSU’s Department of Communication in 2016 as a lecturer and then as full-time broadcast instructor 2.5 years ago. Misun received an Associate of Science in film and video production, a Bachelor of Science in entertainment business and a Master of the Arts in new media journalism, all from Full Sail University.
Flora Dedeaux is a senior communication major with concentrations in broadcast and digital journalism and public relations. From Gulfport, Dedeaux is involved with Bulldog Bash, serving as the public relations coordinator.
Tanner Marlar is a junior communication major concentrating in print and digital journalism. Originally from Kossuth, Miss., Marlar always had a passion for writing and sports, so he chose to combine the two, with hopes of covering sports for a major news outlet after graduation.
Emmie Perkins is a junior majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations and minoring in music. A native of Hattiesburg, Perkins is a mentor for ACCESS, a Road Runner, a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, Concert Choir Schola Cantorum and PRSSA.
Greg Barker received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Journalism in 1988 from Mississippi State University. The Meridian, Miss., native now resides in Birmingham, Ala., serving as the president of the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama.
Brittany Young received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Journalism from Mississippi State University in 2013 and received her Master of Arts in Communication & Information Sciences with a concentration in Telecommunication & Film from the University of Alabama in 2015.
Chuck Dunlap received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations in 1999 from Mississippi State University and received his Master of Business Administration in 2004 from The University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Cameron Mayers is a sophomore double-majoring in communication with a concentration in theatre and political science, and he is minoring in marketing. Mayers is incredibly active across campus, participating in Student Association, where he is director of marketing for organizational outreach.
Bethany Deuel is a senior majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations from from Hoover, Ala. Deuel currently serves as a Roadrunner for the university and is involved in the Reformed University Fellowship.
