Nancy Dorman-Hickson received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations in 1982. After graduating from MSU, Dorman-Hickson went to Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and earned a master's in Communication.
Chuck Dunlap received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations in 1999 from Mississippi State University and received his Master of Business Administration in 2004 from The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Giles Lindley, a native of Jackson, Miss., is a professor in the Department of Communication’s communication and media studies concentration. Lindley is a graduate of MSU’s Department of Philosophy and Religion, and he received a Master of Divinity from Duke, an MA and PhD in Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Aspen Humes is a junior from Atlanta, Ga., double-majoring in communication, with a concentration in communication and media studies and political science. Around campus, Humes is a member of I.D.E.A.L. Woman, Beyond Arrest Re-thinking Systemic Oppression (BARS MSU), and Covid Vaccine Ambassadors.
Cameron Mayers is a sophomore double-majoring in communication with a concentration in theatre and political science, and he is minoring in marketing. Mayers is incredibly active across campus, participating in Student Association, where he is director of marketing for organizational outreach.
Sarah Nicholas received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations in 2000. Nicholas, a native and current resident of Starkville, Miss., serves as a writer and editor for the College of Arts & Sciences at Mississippi State University.
Sara Frederic received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations in 2008 from Mississippi State University. Frederic also earned two master’s degrees from MSU, including a Master of Business Administration in 2011 and a Master of Science in Sports Administration in 2012.
Emily Cain received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Communication Studies in 2005 from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Speech Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2007.
Anna Blount has been a member of Mississippi State University’s Department of Communication faculty for seven years, but prior to that, she was a student in the department. She received her B.A. in Communication with a concentration in public relations, and she received her M.S. in Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Maggie McKinnis is a junior majoring in communication with a concentration in communication & media studies. A native of Madison, Miss., McKinnis is currently involved in Chi Omega sorority, Roadrunners, Dresses of Hope, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Golden Key Honor Society, Pinelake College Starkville, and the Enneagram Club. After graduating, McKinnis dreams of working in higher education, especially if she could work in Student Affairs or Admissions at Mississippi State University.
